Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Epic Splitter at epicsplitter.com, or any associated mobile applications or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors who browse without registering, registered users with a free account, and paying customers on any credit plan.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Epic Splitter. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” in these Terms refers to that entity.

2. Description of Service

Epic Splitter is an AI-powered product planning platform that helps founders, product managers, and builders transform software ideas into structured execution plans. You submit a description of your product idea, and Epic Splitter uses artificial intelligence to generate a comprehensive plan.

Blueprint outputs include:

• Product architecture and application map
• MVP scope and feature prioritisation
• User stories and acceptance criteria
• Sprint plans and milestone roadmaps
• Epics and task breakdowns
• Database schema structure
• API endpoint structure

Additional features available on the platform include:

• Roast My Idea: Paid AI-powered critical feedback on your product idea
• Jira integration: Push blueprints directly to your Jira workspace as epics and stories
• Build in Lovable: Generate structured prompts to kickstart your build in Lovable
• Export for Claude Code: Generate a CLAUDE.md file containing your blueprint for use with Claude Code
• Shareable links: Share your blueprint with teammates, clients, or investors via a unique link

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are the unit of value used to access analysis and premium features. Credits are purchased in Nigerian Naira via Paystack.

3. Account Registration

To access most features of Epic Splitter, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to the following:

• Accurate information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up to date.
• Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. Do not share your login details with anyone.
• Unauthorised access: You must notify us immediately at support@epicsplitter.com if you suspect or discover any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
• One account per person: One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account for the purpose of circumventing credit limits, exploiting promotional offers, or any other reason that would disadvantage other users or Epic Splitter.

4. Credits and Payments

• Credit system: Credits are the unit of currency on Epic Splitter. Each blueprint analysis, deep plan, or feature usage costs a defined number of credits. The credit cost for each action is displayed before you confirm it.
• Currency and payment: Credits are purchased in Nigerian Naira (₦) via Paystack. We do not accept payments in other currencies at this time.
• Pricing: Credit prices are displayed at the time of purchase. Prices may change over time with appropriate notice. Price changes do not affect credits you have already purchased. Your existing balance retains its full value.
• Credit expiry: Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
• Non-refundable use: Credits that have been used to generate a blueprint, run an analysis, or access a paid feature are non-refundable.
• Refund window: Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase, provided that no credits have been used from the purchased batch during that period. To request a refund, contact support@epicsplitter.com.
• Founding Member pricing: Accounts that registered under Founding Member promotional pricing have that pricing locked for the lifetime of the account, provided the account remains active, in good standing, and has not violated these Terms.
• Pricing changes: We reserve the right to modify credit pricing with at least 14 days' notice to active users via email and/or a notice in the application.
• Payment processing: All payment processing is handled by Paystack. We do not store your card details. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Epic Splitter only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to:

• Generate blueprints for illegal products, services, or activities prohibited under applicable law.
• Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the underlying AI models, prompts, algorithms, or proprietary technology used by Epic Splitter.
• Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or other automated means to generate blueprints in bulk or access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal individual usage.
• Share account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account as a means to circumvent credit requirements or plan limits.
• Generate, submit, or share content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or otherwise harmful or offensive.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, data, or any part of the Service not intended for your use.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair, or disrupt the platform, its servers, or connected networks.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code into the Service.

Violation of these acceptable use rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your content

The product ideas, descriptions, and other content you submit to Epic Splitter remain your intellectual property. The AI-generated blueprints produced from your submitted content are also yours to use, modify, and commercialise without restriction.

By submitting content to the Service, you grant Epic Splitter a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and transmit your submitted content solely for the purpose of generating your blueprint and improving the quality of the Service. This licence does not give Epic Splitter the right to sell or publicly share your specific product ideas or blueprints.

6.2 Our content

The Epic Splitter platform, including its interface design, user experience, branding, logo, marketing materials, and the underlying technology, software, and AI pipeline, are the exclusive property of Epic Splitter and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works based on any part of the Epic Splitter platform, interface, or content without our prior written permission. Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Epic Splitter uses artificial intelligence to generate product planning outputs. While we invest heavily in the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our AI outputs, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or inaccuracies. The quality and relevance of outputs depends in part on the quality and detail of your submitted input.
• Blueprint outputs are intended as a starting point for product planning and strategic thinking. They should be reviewed and validated by appropriately qualified professionals, including engineers, designers, and product managers, before being used to make significant technical, financial, or business decisions.
• Epic Splitter does not guarantee that any blueprint will result in a successful product, a funded company, a specific investment return, or any other particular business outcome.
• We are not responsible or liable for decisions made based on blueprint outputs, or for any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Epic Splitter integrates with third-party services including Jira, Lovable, and Claude Code. These integrations are provided as optional convenience features to help you act on your blueprints more quickly.

• We are not responsible for the availability, uptime, accuracy, or actions of any third-party service. Changes to third-party APIs or platforms may affect the availability of integrations without notice.
• Your use of any third-party service is governed entirely by that service's own terms of service, privacy policy, and usage limits. Epic Splitter is not a party to your agreement with those services.
• When you connect a third-party integration, you authorise Epic Splitter to interact with that service on your behalf within the specific permissions you grant during the authorisation process. You can revoke this authorisation at any time from your account settings or from the third-party service's own connected apps settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or continuous availability.
• Epic Splitter does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from bugs or technical issues.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Epic Splitter, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or the cost of substitute services, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Epic Splitter in the twelve (12) calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

10. Account Termination

Termination by you:

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page within the application. Upon deletion, any unused credits remaining in your account are forfeited, unless a refund is requested and approved within the 7-day refund window described in Section 4.

Termination by us:

Epic Splitter reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

• You have violated any provision of these Terms
• You have engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity
• Your use of the Service harms other users, third parties, or the platform itself
• We are required to do so by law or regulation

Except in cases of serious violation or fraud, we will provide reasonable notice before terminating an account and will give you an opportunity to address the issue where practicable.

Upon any termination, your access to the Service and your blueprint data will cease. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Epic Splitter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. You irrevocably agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for this purpose.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Please reach out to us at support@epicsplitter.com and we will make good-faith efforts to resolve your concern within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our service, applicable law, or business practices. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify all registered users by email at least 14 days before the updated Terms take effect.

We will also display a prominent notice within the application when material changes are pending. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised each time the Terms are updated.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
